The content on Paw Multiverse (pawmultiverse.com) is provided for **general informational and educational purposes only**. It is not veterinary advice, and it is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or guidance from a qualified veterinarian who has examined your animal.

## No vet-patient relationship

Reading this website, using our calculators, or contacting us does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. Our tools (including the Dog Age Calculator, Dog Food Portion Calculator, Chocolate Toxicity Calculator, Pet Cost Calculator and others) produce general estimates based on published formulas and averages - they cannot account for your individual pet’s health, breed, medical history or circumstances.

## Emergencies

**If your pet has eaten something potentially toxic, is injured, or shows signs of illness, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal clinic immediately.** Never delay seeking professional advice because of something you read on this site. Our Chocolate Toxicity Calculator in particular is a triage aid only - when in doubt, always call a vet regardless of the result it shows.

## Accuracy

We work to keep our information accurate and current, checking it against established veterinary sources. Animal nutrition science evolves, individual animals vary, and despite our efforts errors are possible. We make no warranties about completeness or accuracy, and we accept no liability for actions taken based on this site’s content. If you spot an error, please [tell us](https://pawmultiverse.com/contact/) - we fix things fast.
