We show advertisements, including through Google AdSense. Advertisers see nothing before it is published and have no influence over what we write. The answer to “can dogs eat grapes?” is no, whoever is advertising.

Three parts of this site will never carry one, whatever happens to the business: the pet food recall record, the business pages built from it, and the animal poison service directory. Nobody can pay to appear there, to be removed from there, or to change what a record says. That rule is not up for review.

Everywhere else, on general care, cost and travel pages, we may earn a commission. Where we do, the page will say so at the top and the link itself will be marked, so you can see exactly which one it is. As of 9 September 2026 there are none: we checked rather than assumed, and across every page in our sitemap the outbound links go to government registers, veterinary and welfare organisations, sources we cite, and our own sister sites.

The record is never for sale

The pet food recall record, the poison control directory and the business pages are built from official sources, and they will never carry a paid placement, a sponsored entry or an affiliate link. No business can pay to be left off the record, to be described differently, or to be listed first. If a business we hold a recall against ever became a commercial partner of ours, we would publish that on this page and on the record itself.

What we do not do

We do not accept payment for coverage. We do not publish sponsored content dressed up as advice. We do not sell your personal data — see our Privacy Policy.
