Every recall on this site is read from an official register and kept. When the authority later takes an entry down, or rewrites it, we keep every version we read, each one dated. This page lists those catches, counted live from the record.
What counts as a catch
A catch is a record whose entry is no longer listed by the authority that published it, or one we now hold in more than one version because the text was changed after we first read it. Nothing is inferred: a catch is a difference between two dated readings of the same official page or feed.
Why it matters
A recall that disappears from the official list is still a recall. The product was still withdrawn, and an owner searching next year still needs the answer. A record that only mirrors the register would lose the entry the day the register does. Keeping it, with the date it went, is the whole point of this record.

Nothing yet. We hold 211 records from five official registers, and none has been withdrawn or rewritten since recording began on 1 September 2026. The first one will appear here on its own.

How each register is read, what is verified and what is not, is set out on the method page. Everything we hold, including the entries the authority has taken down, is searchable on the recall record. The same data is published as JSON at /wp-json/mv/v1/records, which is where the figures on this page are counted from, in your browser, each time it loads.
