Contact Paw Multiverse
Spotted an error in our data? Want to suggest a tool or dataset? We read everything.
Use the form below, or email us directly at paw@aitmultiverse.com. Paw Multiverse is built and maintained by A.I.T. Multiverse Consulting Ltd. Corrections to published figures are prioritised and credited in our changelog.
If this is urgent, do not email us
If your pet is unwell, has eaten something, or you are looking at symptoms right now, do not wait for a reply from us. Phone your vet, or your nearest emergency clinic, now. We are not veterinarians, we cannot answer clinical questions, and an email queue is the wrong instrument for an urgent problem. If you are not sure whether it counts as an emergency, that uncertainty is itself a good reason to pick up the phone.
Who you are actually writing to
Paw Multiverse is written and maintained by a small independent team, not by a veterinary practice, a publisher or a brand. There is no press office and no call centre behind this address. Messages are read by the people who write the pages, which is why a well evidenced correction can be acted on directly rather than being routed somewhere.
What we can help with
Corrections. A figure that is wrong or out of date, a source that has moved, a rule that changed, a table missing a country you know about. These are the messages we act on fastest, and they are the reason this address exists.
Gaps. A food that is not in the library, a destination missing from the travel table, an airline whose published policy we have not read yet. Tell us which one and we will go looking for a publisher of record for it.
Faults. A tool that produces nothing when you click it, a download button that does not download, a page that lays out badly on your phone. Please say which device and which browser, because most of these only reproduce on one combination.
Reuse and attribution. Questions about quoting our tables, linking to a page, or citing a figure somewhere else.
What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you whether your pet is ill, what is wrong with it, what to give it, how much to give, or whether it is safe to wait until morning. Every one of those is a question for a vet who can examine the animal in front of them. Answering it from a keyboard would be unsafe, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
We also cannot recommend a specific vet, insurer, breeder, food or product. We take no money from any of them, which is deliberate, and it means we have no basis on which to rank them and no interest in doing so.
What to include in your message
The address of the page you are writing about helps more than anything else. After that: what you expected to see, and what you saw instead.
If you are reporting a data correction, the single most useful thing you can send is the source you are working from, with a date. A named publisher and a date lets us verify a correction in minutes. Without one we have to go and find the same source ourselves, and that is usually what delays a fix rather than any reluctance to make it.
How long we take
This is a small operation rather than a support desk, and we would rather answer properly than quickly. Corrections that arrive with a source are usually made within a few days. Where a message needs a source read at origin before we can act on it, it takes as long as that takes. We will not publish a figure we have not verified in order to close a message faster.
What happens to what you send
Your message is used to answer you and to fix whatever you reported. It is not added to a mailing list, sold, or passed to anyone else. If something you send results in a change, the change appears on the page with the old value quoted and the date it changed. Your name does not appear unless you ask us to credit you.
