Puppy Weight Predictor

How big will your puppy get? Enter their age, current weight and expected breed size to estimate their adult weight — based on the typical growth curves of toy through giant breeds.

How the prediction works

Puppies grow at very different rates depending on their adult size: toy breeds are nearly full-grown by 9 months, while giant breeds keep filling out past 18 months. This tool looks at the percentage of adult weight a puppy has typically reached at your pup’s age in the size class you choose, then scales their current weight to a full-grown estimate. Genetics, diet and neutering timing all play a role — treat it as a smart estimate, not a promise.

Getting portions right matters just as much while they grow: the dog food calculator gives daily grams for a growing pup, the dog age calculator shows their life stage, and a free lifelong care plan maps vaccines to senior screening. Large and giant pups should grow slowly — overfeeding stresses developing joints. Keep treats under 10% of daily calories and check which human foods are safe before sharing.

This tool gives general estimates only and is not veterinary advice. Weigh your puppy every 2–4 weeks — steady gain along their curve beats jumps. If growth stalls or drops, talk to your vet.
