Advertise on Paw Multiverse
Paw Multiverse keeps a dated record of pet food and pet product recalls from five official registers in four countries, and a worldwide directory of animal poison control services. People arrive here at a specific moment: something has been recalled, or their animal has eaten something, and they need to know what is true right now.
That is a small audience and an unusually attentive one. This page sets out what can be bought, what cannot, and how commercial content is labelled. If you run an affiliate programme, a brand, or a media agency, this is the page to read before writing to us.
Who reads this site
Readers are worldwide, arrive mostly from search at the moment of a problem, and are split between people checking a specific product and people looking for an emergency number in their own country. Most sessions are on a phone.
Current figures for sessions, countries, devices and alert subscribers are sent on request, from Google Analytics and Search Console directly, with the reporting period stated. We do not publish rounded numbers we cannot evidence.
What is never for sale
This is the first thing to read, because it rules out most of what people ask for.
- The record itself. No payment changes, delays, softens or removes a recall record, a change page or a version history. Nobody is told in advance that their product has appeared.
- The poison control directory. It carries no commercial link of any kind and never will.
- The emergency pages. Anything a person reads while an animal is in trouble stays clean: no ads, no partners, no sponsored blocks.
- Editorial coverage. We do not publish sponsored articles, paid reviews, paid inclusion in any list, or guest posts with links.
- Our readers’ addresses. The alert list is never sold, rented or shared.
These rules are not negotiable at any price, and they are the reason the rest of the site is worth appearing on.
What is available
Display advertising
Display inventory runs through Google AdSense on the guides, the recall record pages and the country hubs. Slots are fixed positions, labelled “Advertisement”, and a slot Google leaves unfilled collapses rather than showing a blank band. Emergency, poison control and legal pages carry no slots at all.
Direct display bookings on specific sections are possible. Ask for what you have in mind.
Affiliate placement
Affiliate links are possible on the general care and guide pages only, never on the record, never on the poison directory, never on an emergency page. Every commercial link carries rel="sponsored" and a visible marker beside it, and the disclosure page names the arrangement. Categories that fit this audience: pet insurance, pet food and treat retailers, microchip and ID tags, home safety products, and travel gear.
As of today no affiliate arrangement is live. If yours would be the first, say so and we will tell you plainly where it could sit and where it could not.
Recall Watch, for business
A paid monitoring service: give us your own product or SKU list and we watch it against five registers in four countries, with barcode matching across borders and the full version history of every notice. The recall digest
A weekly summary of what the registers published and what they quietly changed. Sponsorship of the digest will be offered once it is sending. Ask to be told when it opens.
Who we will not take
No veterinary medicines, no supplements making health claims, no raw feeding products making safety claims, no pet pharmacy without a verifiable licence, no breeders, no puppy or kitten sales, and nothing making a claim about an animal’s health that the advertiser cannot evidence. We will also decline anything that would sit next to a recall notice for a competing product.
How commercial content is labelled
Display units are labelled “Advertisement”. Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored" and a visible marker. Nothing commercial is ever styled to look like part of the record or part of an editorial recommendation. Our editorial policy and disclosure are public and we do not vary them per advertiser.
