Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure
Paw Multiverse is free to read. It is paid for by advertising and, on some pages, by affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works and the rules that money is never allowed to break.
Who we are
Paw Multiverse is published by A.I.T. Multiverse Consulting Ltd, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. We are not a veterinary practice, a regulator or a government body, and we are not the authorities of any country. We are a website that helps people find, read and act on what vets, poison services and official recall registers publish. When something matters, check it with your own vet or with the authority itself.
Advertising
We show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Ads are placed automatically by Google and are labelled by Google as advertisements. Advertisers do not see our pages before they are published, cannot request or change coverage, and have no say over what we write. The answer to "can dogs eat grapes?" is the same whoever is advertising.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google shows a consent message on our behalf. Ads and analytics only use cookies for personalisation after you agree, and you can change your choice at any time with the Privacy and cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
Affiliate links
Some pages about general care, costs and travel may include affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. It does not change the price you pay.
- Every affiliate or otherwise paid link is marked in the page, with a small Ad or Partner label next to the link, and carries
rel="sponsored"so search engines know it too. - A page that contains affiliate links says so near the top, before the first link.
- We only link to a product because it is relevant to the page, never because a commission is available.
What money never touches
Three parts of this site will never carry an affiliate link, a sponsored entry or a paid placement:
- The pet food recall record, every record and change page, and the business pages built from it.
- The animal poison control directory.
- Safety and emergency content: what to do if a pet has eaten something, warning signs, first aid and triage pages.
No business can pay to appear in the recall record, to be left out of it, to be described differently, or to be listed first. Recall data is copied from the official registers and kept as the authority published it. If a business named in a recall ever became a commercial partner of ours, we would say so on this page and on the record itself.
Sponsored content
We do not publish sponsored articles dressed up as advice. If we ever publish a piece that a company paid for, it will be labelled "Sponsored" at the top, in words, before the headline content.
Your data
We do not sell your personal data. How advertising and analytics cookies are used is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Questions and corrections
If a link is not marked when it should be, or you think we have missed a disclosure, tell us and we will fix it. Businesses, retailers, clinics and developers can read the terms on our partner page. See also our Editorial Policy and Disclaimer.
This disclosure is written to meet the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and the UK Advertising Standards Authority's CAP Code guidance on recognising advertising.
