The golden rules of rabbit feeding

85% hay. Unlimited grass hay powers the gut and grinds the teeth. ~10% leafy greens: a packed cup per kg of body weight daily, rotated for variety. ~5% pellets. Fruit & carrot = sweets: 1–2 tablespoons per 2 kg per week, total. And the rule every owner must know: a rabbit that has not eaten or pooped for 12 hours needs a vet immediately — GI stasis kills fast.
